UICentre is the campus-wide drug discovery enterprise at the University of Illinois Chicago. Our mission is to build a pipeline of therapeutic innovations that could meet pressing unmet medical needs.  To do that we work with PIs across the entire university and the Office of Technology Management, to identify promising projects. We then help build interdisciplinary teams, to advance these projects from bioassay development, to high-throughput screening, to target validation, to hit to lead optimization. Within UICentre we have expertise in quantitative biology, medicinal chemistry, and drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics. Come join our team!
